Location: This role is open to Atlanta/Alpharetta GA
Title: MSSQL Principal Engineer (SQL Server DBA, Python, PowerShell)
- Scripting side, PowerShell and Python are good.
- This role is more focused on the database layer, so should have extensively worked on MS SQL Server.
- Any certification Microsoft SQL Server is good.
- We are looking for a person who can code and who can provision the whole database infrastructure as a core, building dashboards and running database as a service.
- This is not a traditional DBA role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional experience as a SQL Server DBA or Similar roles
- Advanced skills with scripting and automation using Python, Go, PowerShell, Google Cloud Scripting and Infrastructure Code (IaC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Proficiency in building telemetry or observability implementation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive technical decisions across the organization.
- Microsoft SQL Server Certification is a Must and preferable to have other Cloud certifications in AWS, GCP.
